Thank you for choosing Crown of Curls! To ensure the best experience for everyone, please take a moment to review our policies.
Deposits
A $30 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This will go toward your service and can be transferred once if rescheduling within the cancellation window.
Cancellations & rescheduling
I completely understand that life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, kindly do so at least 48 hours in advance to avoid any fees. Appointments canceled within this window will be subject to a 50% charge of the booked service.
No Call/no shows
If you miss your appointment without notice, the full service amount will be charged, and future bookings will no longer be accepted.
Same-day cancellations
For same-day cancellations, 50% of the service cost will be charged.
Tardiness
I know things don’t always go as planned. With that in mind, there is a 10-minute grace period for appointments. If you arrive later than that, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and a $25 late fee will apply if you still choose to be serviced (at Crown of Curls’ discretion).
Extra guests
To keep the space peaceful and comfortable, please come solo unless your guest is also receiving a service.
Preparing for your appointment
For all services that include a cut (except refresh cuts), please arrive with your hair down, dry, detangled, and with little to no product—no buns, braids, ponytails, or pins. For refresh cuts please come with your hair freshly styled. If detangling takes more than 15 minutes, a detangling fee may apply or the appointment may need to be rescheduled.
For those with compromised hair
If your hair has been affected by heat, color, or chemicals, I recommend transitioning for at least 6 months before booking (unless you’re ready for a big chop!). I do offer a restorative add-on treatment that can help improve elasticity and appearance, but true recovery comes with trimming. Please note that this add-on must be requested in advance due to additional service time.
After hour appointments
Need an appointment outside of regular hours? I’d be happy to accommodate you when possible! An additional fee of $25-$75 will apply.
Online orders & returns
Orders typically ship within 2-5 days, and if you need to make a return, we’ve got you covered with a 10-day return policy from the date of delivery. Please note that return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless we made a mistake—if that happens, we’ll gladly make it right!
